What is the scientific basis of Subtle Body Balance?
The method has been scientifically accompanied and studied using heart rate variability (HRV) measurements.
What is the vagus nerve?
The vagus nerve is the largest and most important nerve of the parasympathetic nervous system and is involved in regulating the activity of nearly all internal organs.
It connects the brain with key organs – especially the heart, lungs, and digestive system – acting as an internal regulatory pathway. The vagus nerve governs rest, regeneration, and self-healing processes and helps regulate and calm stress responses. HRV measurement makes vagal activity visible.
What is the autonomic nervous system?
The autonomic (vegetative) nervous system unconsciously regulates all vital bodily functions such as heart rate, breathing, digestion, and glandular activity. It consists of the sympathetic nervous system (activation/performance) and the parasympathetic nervous system (rest/regeneration), maintaining balance between exertion and recovery.
Is this energy work?
No. Although the term subtle body may initially seem unfamiliar, it refers to a perceptible, substantive reality that has been scientifically validated through HRV measurements. The method connects subjective experience with objective measurement.
